At Euroblech 2018, OSCAR PLT presented its ProFocus laser for additive manufacturing for the first time at the Kjellberg Group booth. The laser was presented in an interactive showcase, with which the structure of the laser head and its advantages were visualized and a reference task for component repair could be presented in cooperation with Botec. Because of the additional simulation of the beam guidance with LED light, ProFocus was one of the attractions at the booth. The laser that is used for 3D generation is currently unique on the market because of the special design of the laser beams and the flexible use of wire or powder for layer deposition.
