In one of the first customer projects in the area of repair welding, ProFocus is demonstrating its productivity and process reliability. Laser deposition welding for 3D generation has now been successfully applied for the company Botec GmbH to refurbish the function surfaces of impellers and guide vanes of power plant pumps. The application was carried out in a hot-wire process. The laser deposition welding process enables flawless and near-net-shape applications as well as minimal distortion.
