Customised protective gas systems
We design shielding gas systems to improve the quality of weld seams, avoid rework and reduce gas consumption at the same time. Trailing gas nozzles offer ideal seam protection for thermal processes such as laser welding or arc welding (e.g. TIG welding). By optimising the gas flow, a more stable welding environment is created, resulting in clean and uniform weld seams. Our gas nozzles are a reliable choice for mechanised and automated welding production, with a focus on quality and cost-effectiveness. We customise shielding gas systems to the different welding requirements of our customers by supporting you from the analysis of the process to the integration into the system.
Thanks to the optimum gas protection, our customers achieve top results, even when working on materials that are very sensitive to oxidation, such as high-alloy steels or titanium.
Save money with our nozzles by optimising gas protection. Additive manufacturing enables customised nozzles.
Available for both hand and machine torches. The right nozzle for your application thanks to cost-effective individual part production.
Easy to integrate into any automation and production environment, for protecting the component surface or for forming inside the component. Can be used for a variety of welding processes, such as laser welding or arc welding
Do you have questions about our company, our products or our services? Then you've come to the right place.
Trailing gas nozzles offer improved shielding gas coverage. This leads to a reduction in oxidation (annealing colours), which is particularly important when welding stainless steel or titanium. Unwanted changes to the component, such as pores in the seam and burn-off of alloying elements, are minimised. The nozzles are designed to distribute the shielding gas more efficiently and evenly around the welding point, thereby keeping the oxygen away from the heat-affected zone on the component.
We see our laser technology as an important and forward-looking addition to the mentioned processes. We can work dynamically on components and under normal conditions using localised shielding gas coverage. Minimising distortion and undesirable softening of the base materials are just some of the advantages that enable us to overcome production limits. With ProFocus, wire and powder materials can also be guided in one system and applied layer by layer, locally, and even in alternation, if needed. This flexibility does not exist with other processes.
The dimensions of our cameras are very small. However, if it is still too small for the process display, we can offer you solutions to make the best possible use of the installation space.
The proven metal 3D printing system that started it all. A versatile technology that enables unmanned, direction-independent welding - with both wire and powder LMD (Laser Metal Deposition).
This compact version of our pioneering laser head weighs just 6 kilograms and still brings all the advantages of the ProFocus technology, enabling new applications and geometries.
The compact version of our laser cell for production environments with small to medium-sized components. It combines the quality and efficiency of the ProFocus laser cell with a particularly compact footprint and easy transportability.
