TIG welding

High-performance tungsten inert gas welding

The InFocus and InFocus Pluspole TIG welding torches are synonymous with automated high-performance processes. They combine maximum productivity, quality, and robustness. Depending on the welding task, InFocus can be used with currents of up to 1000 A. The process is suitable for both single-layer keyhole welding of sheet thicknesses up to 10 mm and highly productive heat conduction welding with an extremely stable arc. InFocus Pluspole enables efficient, low-emission welding of aluminum sheets up to 8 mm thick in a single layer. We support you with focused expertise in a specialized team. We work with you to develop customized solutions and carry out feasibility studies and customer trials on modern test benches.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you have questions about our company, our products or our services? Then you've come to the right place.

Yes, trailing gas nozzles can also be used for forming, e.g. in pipes or along joints. Sufficient space must be available so that the nozzle can be carried along. Particularly with large components, where a large volume needs to be formed, trailing gas nozzles offer the advantage of protecting the hot area locally around the seam more quickly and with less gas, instead of having to purge the entire area for a long time.

OSCAR-PLT can select the right nozzles for you. The size and geometry of the nozzles can vary greatly depending on the process. Our service includes process analysis, welding tests, nozzle design, structural integration and on-site commissioning. The selection of the right nozzles depends on several factors, including the material to be welded, the welding process used and the system environment.

Depending on the angle and position of the camera, it is possible to observe the process. In addition, a cut-out or a sight glass can be inserted into the trailing gas nozzle if a larger viewing area is required.
