In the best case, this call could be the beginning of a win-win partnership. Should our systems not suit your application, Tobias and Ulf will advise you on other technologies.
We are here to help you and your team to get the most out of 3D repairs.
Laser-DED
Laser-DED (Direct Energy Deposition) with wire and powder is a safe and clean laser welding technology. This method stands for precision and efficiency, particularly in repair welding, cladding, and the 3D printing of complex metal components. Its advantages include low porosity, high material efficiency, and safe handling.
TIG-DED
TIG-DED (Tungsten Inert Gas - Directed Energy Deposition) refers to a TIG-based additive welding process. OSCAR applies this technology using three preheated wires that are fed simultaneously. The result is a direction-independent additive process with deposition rates that significantly outperform conventional WAAM and laser-based systems. At the same time, heat input remains low, minimizing dilution and reducing cooling times. The process is ideally suited for high-productivity cladding and repair applications where efficiency, process stability, and reproducibility are essential.
High-Performance TIG Welding
Arc welding is a process in which an electric arc between an electrode and the workpiece generates heat to melt and join metals. High-performance TIG welding takes this further: by maximizing cathode cooling, the arc is highly constricted, enabling optimal process stability and joint properties. This method stands out for its versatility, efficiency, and strong, high-quality welds.
